Puget Sound?? Monterey Bay?? I thought we were talking about Southern San
Francisco Bay.


BTW, Orca attacks on humans in the wild are unheard of as far as I know.
Great White attacks, however, are pretty common on the coast around San
Francisco, but you have more chance of being swept to your death by a
freak wave.

I've fished for surf perch with spinning and bait-casting gear and caught
a few. It's not that great, to be honest. Can't imagine doing it with fly
tackle. OK, I can imagine it, but I can't imagine being successful. Tight
lines, anyway.

Some how I don't think Frank will mind if it's an Orca or a Great White as
bystanders see him salt water skiing of into the distance hooked onto a the
"Fish Of His Life."
