Why a notebook, Opie?

I plan to take evenin' classes in the near future, and for the rest of my
days--I hope. I think I'll attempt to get my an MBA, Photography courses,
Computer engineerin' courses, and anything else that stikes my fancy.

While I'd like one, my next planned purchase of
a computer will be another big honker that'll take up a solid space in
the house.

There's the rub, I don't have "solid space" in my current digs. Plus, the
big honkers ain't too portable, classes and all that.

Notebooks are more easily lost or stolen.

I'll check into insurance?

If you were
still driving a semi, it'd be great. Once you're not traveling on
business, not as necessary.

No, I've just started my second--and hopefully final job--since I quit
truckin.

If you just plain like the concept a
whole bunch, goferit. They're cool.

I do like the concept, and I believe (possibly wrongly) that it will suit my
needs better than a desktop model.
