Dave, how can this be true? When you say "our" healthcare, that is not
really accurate is it? You're covered by "Tricare" as are most
retirees and military.
And you know that TRICARE . . .
1. Already EXCEEDS the standards of the new health reform law, and
2. TRICARE WILL NOT BE TRANSFERRED to the new reform set up
3. That TRICARE operates and under a separate administration and legal
framework.

You probably didn't read any of the more than a dozen notices, emails
etc going back 2-3 months that quite clearly made this point to
everybody with the possible exception of Messrs Beck and Limbesmerch.

Well, you definitely nailed #3 since bringing up Tricare in this
context is clearly a red herring and does not address the subject
of the OP's link.

And you sort of used #4, though in an elusive manner.

On #5, you clearly failed to stomp on the OP's morals, though you
were able to question his literacy and get a dig in at his religious
beliefs (if any).

Fact based? I guess it works for you that the Pirate presented zip,

facts. Fact is the Pirate is mostly ignorant of even how Tricare
works. See, much of what he thinks is Tricare, is actually paid for
by
Medicare, and probably the spousal insurance. And not all Tricare is
"free," nor are all covered by Tricare service personnel, nor was
Tricare around in 1956, and that many wounded are not covered, that
some war widows are not fully covered etc etc. You know who tries to
cover
the healthcare needs of the aforementioned? Guess. Medicare/Medicaide


And who runs Tricare? Why it is the same Government that Dave says
can't run anything, the same Govt that runs the best military in the
world, the best postal service in the world, the most extensive
National Parks system in the world, the best weather service, coast
and geodetic service etc etc.


Here's a fact for you at no charge. In over 35 years of consulting,
much of it in fixing human service programs I learned that most MEN,
know diddle squat about health insurance or how the schools for their
kids work. Your average man for the most part is FULL OF **** AND
IGNORANCE about both healthcare and education. But that doesn't stop
men from saying and thinking all kinds of nonsense and being big
babies and whiners, or angry assholes, when they need something from
the healthcare system. I only need to point to the pictures of the
"Teabaggers" waving signs saying "Keep the Governments Hands off my
Medicare" to demo my point.


Women, on average, understand this stuff much better, and they and
their kids have to suffer the consequences of this incredible
aggressive ignorance. Work for a week in a public hospital and you
will be changed.
