Thank you! I will have to find one in a store.
Unless the 'store' is Penn's Creek Angler, or AA Fly Shop in White Haven,
PA, you probably would be out of luck. I gave you the recipe so that you
can
tie up your own. Possibly, the best way to get to understand the
relationship between imitation and real bugs.
Tom
Hi Tom,
I looked on both there web sites and could not find any
pictures of flies. Rats. Google was no help either.
I have copied down what you sent me in case I ever
get a chance to use it.
Thank you for helping with my pet project!

I stated those two because AA was the originator of the pattern, and I tie
them for PCA.
Tom
Hi Tom,
Any chance of PCA putting a picture of it up on their web
site? Do you know of anywhere that might have a picture?

Todd, read the recipe. The fly is a soft hackle. What have Tom and I
been telling you about soft hackle wet flies? They mimic the baetis.
Go to:
http://www.pacificfly.com/products_s...+Hackle+Nymphs
See
if you can find something that matches Tom's recipe. It doesn't have
to be exact - close counts.
Size and color are the most important features.
If only so much effort was put forth for world peace as your "pet project."
