phillipsburg...??...montana? is that the place that has the bar with a
bowling alley (2 lanes?) upstairs? warren and i fished upper rock
creek, drove around a "different" route back to our digs on rock creek,
and hit a drunk front somewhere short of an old mining town that was
having a street festival. i have a foggy notion it was phillipsburg.
victorian-style buildings, wondrously cozy mainstreet...we found it
accidentally and in our post-fishing alcohol-lust. one of my most
memorable fishing days (and nights). i even bowled...no strikes or
spares...but my finest bowling effort ever.
