I have cast the Sage as well as an Orvis Helios, and find either one
quite suitable for my limited experience with higher weight rods.

PS:

Don't rule out the ZXL from Sage, the Winston BIImx or BIIIx, or the
new Loomis series. I've not played with the Xi3, but throughly enjoyed
the Xi2.
