pickup truck, parked in front of a church. *On the trailer was an
upright piano. *One young man was standing on the trailer, in front of
the piano, banging out something execrable.....and doing it badly. *I

I drove through the intersection and, looking in the side mirror, I

who, truth be told, likes the first version better. *not as
prosaically explicit perhaps.....but the REALLY good things in life
often aren't.

LOL..with the Cliff's Notes, I reread the original and it made perfect
sense. :-)
