Out of all the restaurants I've eaten in, the one that I tend
to regularly
send people who are wandering about that part of the country to
is Cliff
House in San Francisco. Food is nothing to write home about,
but the
atmosphere, especially the view, is incomparable. A relaxing
Sunday
Brunch, followed by a visit to the wonderful nickelodean museum
a few steps
away, and then to the airport for a return trip home, is my
standard.

I have eaten there a few times over the many years I have lived
in the Bay Area. It does have a nice view, I thought the waiters
were snooty and the food nothing to write home about. It is just
another expensive tourist trap.
