Only Chris Leake of Florida managed to do anything against the tigers this
year, Manning, Greene (x2), White, and other good and great quarterbacks
faltered against that defense. USC was not tested by an LSU or OK quality
defense all year, Leinart would probably get off a few big plays but spend a
significant amount of time on his rear, IMO. Even LSU's inconsistent offense
could bomb the hell out of USC's secondary. USC is good, I agree, and on any
given day any team can lose, but I would bet my T&T cane and my bogdan reel
on LSU coming out on top.

Alas, we will never know for sure what would happen.
