Some folks post their fishing trips, and others rant and rail,
some other folks post politics, and some folk send junk mail,
worst of all of course are those, whom most of us would slam,

There are those who post on baseball, and other esoterics,
and there are those who get upset, and go into hysterics,
tofu, whiskey, wine and beer, fried turkey and bruschetta,
post if you like, but only stuff, that is perfect to the letter.

If you can´t spell, you´ve had it here, you may as well retire,
it seems that most participants, enjoyed their education higher,
some say it´s like a bar in here, and maybe they are right,
just like some other places, where one can spend a pointless night.

Science fiction, bible lore, physics and even engineering,
one wonders at the range of stuff, here constantly appearing,
there are of course some folks it seems, who spend their time a´ wishing,
that they could find a newsgroup, which would concentrate on fishing.

Claving, boozing, arguing stuff, and the nuts who rave at length,
it matters not at all it seems, ROFF goes from strength to strength,
all the newbies, spammers, cranks, with astonishing persistence,
merely maintain the awful reputation, and ensure indeed existence.

Close your eyes, transport your mind, imagine for a while,
that ROFF was somehow otherwise, mayhap less infantile?
Where would you go to get annoyed? To hear folk flap their lips?
Would you watch TV? Read magazines? Drink endless lone egg-flips?

How many teeth would you still have? If this was all for real?
The morning after the night before? How would you then feel?
Supposing then instead of ROFF, you sat and read a book?
Go ahead, it´s up to you, ROFF just does not give a flying F§$%

ROFF´s s denizens and monsters will continue in a similar vain,
whether you participate most joyfully, or under intense strain,
if you are ****ed, or sad, or down, just post, and you will see,
best ask ye not for whom ROFF trolls, it trolls for thee!
