OK, I found this bamboo rod on EBay and it says HCH or D on the rod. Now, I
know that HCH converts to DT6,

Actually HCH converts (roughly) to a DT7.

but what the heck is D?

D level or 6wt level.

And would a bamboo
rod that is rated for DT6 throw a WF6 or maybe WF5? Getting my bamboo
stock built up.

I have limited experience, only owning one 'boo, but mine throws a 6wt dt as
well as a 6wt wf.
