Default TR - The Gallatin on a snowy day

says...
Here I am in New Jersey and wondering why you even needed to worry about
the locks? I know I must have a wrong view, but I picture the area you're
in as very rural. Do you worry about squaters' rights if they get in your
car?

I was parked on a major road that leads to ski resort and West
Yellowstone. In areas where tourists tend to frequent, there is
typically a higher rate of crime. I am not saying that the thieves are
tourists, just that the crooks tend to frequent areas where there are
tourists. Easier pickings I guess. I *always* lock up my fishing gear
because items like that are useful and easy to get rid of around here at
pawn shops if the thieves need the money.
