Default Brook trout in Ohio?

"Tim Carter" wrote in message ...

12,000 brook trout released into the tribs of the Chagrin in the project's
final year...anyone know anything about this and how well these fish have
held up?

I'd like to know if you hear...the Chagrin river is my old stompin'
grounds...I practically grew up on that river. It's good to hear
some native fish restoration is going on. 20 years ago or so we
knew some people who had some land with a creek in the East Branch
watershed, and they always said there were brook trout in it.

Are they using fry raised from fish native to the watershed, or
some other source of brook trout?
