Default Salt Outfits?

I'm going on a salt water trip with RW and Bruiser from ROFF late
Spring. I need both 8 weight and 10 weight outfit (these are two
suggested by Bruiser) we'll be fishing for bonefish, baby tarpon and
whatever else we find. I'm new to this. I generally fish a 9 foot rod
and would prefer a three or four piece so it's easier to fly with.
Prefer a faster rod when pushing bigger flies but not super fast. Maybe
a Temple Forks? or ? Reels I have no idea but from what I hear I need
something good that won't burn up. I'd also look to use the outfits for
Steelhead and/or Salmon (something else I'm going to do this year).

What can you put together for me - rod, reel, line, that will be decent
and serviceable? Maybe a couple options? I'm not a wealthy man but
understand buying quality.

How much for both outfits shipped to me?

Willi,

If you go with Temple Fork rods, and are looking for a faster action, I
would go with the new TiCr line. I have both the TiCr and the older
Sal****er(now Professional Series)version rods. The TiCr is noticeably
faster. Also, it's my understanding that the butt sections are beefier
on the 8wt and up TiCr.
