I pretty much stay out of these political threads, but I think it's
ignorant to discount how people from other Countries perceive our
actions. You can take the attitude, **** 'em if they don't like it, but
whether you like it or not, we live in a world economy and our position
as the largest economic force is in the process of being usurped. IMO,
if we want our Country to be a strong nation for our descendants, we
need to learn to form strong alliances in this new economic world and
trying to do it by acting like the toughest kid on the block isn't going
to cut it.
