And I ain't never seen *any* hatches at Penns. They are mythical I believe.


heh,heh...it's true, you could go up there early many times and not
see a frigin hatch, but some years you get lucky with a Grannom,
Hendrickson, or other miscellaneous bug. Ya just never know what
you'll see. I think last year we saw some sparse late Hendricksons in
May.

If the grannoms aren't around I usually stick to Big Fishing Creek and
Spring Creek after a Penn's nymph run or two. They can have some nice
Hendrickson hatches, including a Screaming Yellow Hendrickson on Big
Fishing creek that brings up the fish.
