Im new to fly fishing but not to fly fishing for northern pike. Does
any one have some neat Pike flies. roadkill

I've flyfished for pike on Rainy Lake. I had great luck with a large
popper with a fire tiger color scheme. I used a steel pike leader. I
avoided tying lots of knots in the wire by tying on a small snap to
attach the popper. The snap made fly changes simple. I didn't have
to worry about the added weight since I was already fishing with a
steel leader. I found heaven at dusk in the lilly pads.
