They opened one near Williamsport, PA a few years ago and recently
completed an expansion that doubled the size of the place. To the
best of my knowledge, not a single independent fly or gun shop went
out of business as a result. I'd imagine that the local Wal-Mart and
K-Mart have seen a more serious decline in fishing- and
hunting-related sales than the independent guys have. The small guys
may have felt a pinch, but it wasn't the crushing blow you might
fear...

I've spent some money there but have generally been less than thrilled
with their selection and prices.
