Default Newbie: SE PA flies

redbike:
I was wondering if anyone might be able to suggest some flies for this
time of year for this area. I'm also looking for any resources,
websites for SE PA, or NE PA as well.

after you've sorted through the belches and the gastronmic advice, I would
suggest that you accumulate the following:
Nymphs: Yellow Stoneflies #6-10
Hare's Ears #10-20
Wets: Leadwing Coachman #10-14
Hare's Ear #10-14
Dries: Hendricksons #12-14
Red Quills #14-16
March Browns #12
Grey Foxes #12-14
Sulfurs #14-18
Blue Winged Olives #14-18
Midges(grey,olive) #22-24
Elk Hair Caddis (tan,olive)#14-18
Grab yourself some streamers such as Black nose Dace, Marabou Muddlers and
Shenks White Streamers in #4-10 and head out. This time of year, the nymphs and
streamers will be all you need, the hatches will start in earnest in about 3
weeks. Get to know your local streams and tailor your selection from what you
see on the stream. Good luck!!
