Default blue ridge passion play

"Jeff Miller" wrote , i decided i should head
to the mountains for proper devotionals and resurrection of the spirit -
"the passion of the grist".

Indian Joe responds-- spent four days last week hiking the same creeks
with my 14 year old grandson and doubt many would call it a quality
resurrectional visit of passion. We found that a 14year old and a 73 year
old grandfather just do not have the same interest s. I am sure however that
I won many quality family points for the effort made.
Fished opie's creek one day-no other fishermen but lots of rescue workers
trying to find the couple that went in a greenly {?]
hiking trail and were last heard on their cell phone saying -Where are we?
Few fish in runs but cool weather still had them deep in pools.

stayed in optimist campground cabin for two nights then moved into tent on
Steels creek when it got a little warmer. Never saw another sole in two
days--lots of toms gobblering--and owls hooting-- fished above swimming hole
for first time and found the large rock climbing sort of like x games but
really beautiful--small pools between big rocks and waterfalls. All wild
fish and using two dry flys Walt sold me [and guaranteed productive] I
managed a couple of browns and some really lively jumping rainbows.
[ for charlie- yes did buy flies but must admit walt gave me one big one so
i could see something on end of line while fishing]
came home for easter and as squaw had been in Fla for week we said proper
devotionals and tried to resurrect things.
