Thousands of hours of work mostly undoing thousands of dollars of
stupid "renovations" by the previous owners


I hear ya -- the previous owner of our house was a DIYer, and I am
convinced he didn't own a tape measure or a T-square. Unfortunately,
our house has no historic or architectural significance, so finishing
a project only means I have to start another one. No fishing credits
or awards accrue.
