i view this with some trepidation only because you lie with Walmart
and generally end of with fleas...Walmart's forced reduction of cost
by 5% by its vendors yealrly,

If you think W.M. is alone in this policy, you're sadly mistaken. When I was in
moldmaking, we were direct suppliers of tooling to the largest automotive
companies and manufacturers of personal care products un the U.S.A. They
required either annual price reductions on repeat orders, or improvements in
the tooling or product equal to or exceeding the value of the price reduction.
This is simply how business is done.

If the things I hear about how W.M. treats their "associates" are true, then
they are evil *******s, but they don't seem to treat their vendors much
different than other businesses with huge buying powe.
