This is NOT an "Orvis bash"--because I like most of the Orvis products I
own--but the waders just don't hold up. IMO. Simms has a "Ligtweight" (or
some such name) in the $200 range--get them over the Orvis.

How many years do you expect to get out of your waders?
Four years doesn't exactly suck for wader lifespan, imo.
