You are missing a very important point. If you buy a "guide" model,
that is made specifically for someone who will be using them ALOT, and
guide models are usually more expensive (and they are). A guide might
wear his waders 200 days in a year, if Simms say the lightweights are
specifically for people who wear them only a handfull of days a year,
one could reasonably assume that they wouldnt last as well as guide
models.
