I think you can relax, Thomas. I have a pair of Lightweights that I
fished hard for 2 years (200+ days per year) without a single leak or
other problem. I fish only 10-20 days a year now (just on vacations),
but the waders are still going strong. At $200, they have been
excellent value. I believe the "week or two a year" bit is Simms'
little ploy to get everyone but the most casual fisherman to spring for
the Guide or G3 models. And in Denmark, those must cost about the same
as a cabin in the woods.....

Thank you for your reply. Well, I returned the Simms, and got a pair of Loop
waders instead. Same price, but tons of features and at least the same
quality as the Simms. The G3 model cost close 750$ US dollars in Denmark, or
the same as a medium sized cabin in the woods, hehe.
