Small stream fishing(spring creeks) - why small streams?

Do you want to only catch small trout?
Paul Most cerainly not, some of the biggest trout I have caught have
Paul been out of small streams (no more than 20 to 30ft across and
Paul sometimes much less). However size is not the overriding
Paul factor, the hunt is just as important.

Why fish for wild trout?
Paul Again this is just my preference.

Why prefer the dry fly?
Paul I just prefer this technique, it holds more fascination for me
Paul than wet fly or nymphing, although nymph fishing does come a
Paul close 2nd.

That's exactly the same as my set of preferences. I'm sorry that I
can't contribute by giving you any answers, but I'll definitely want
to hear what our local heros will recommend.
