I once was working for a rafting company, and was sent down to the
town hall to register our fleet of vehicles. The owner warned me that
the lady at the town hall was his nextdoor neighbor, and harbored a
grudge about all the loud, smoky vehicles that were always chugging by
her door, so to be extra observant while she handled the money, did
the forms, etc, to be sure she didn't muck up the process.

I watched her like a hawk, double-checked her math, and saw that she
properly notarized and signed all the forms. It all went smoothly.

Only when I got home, did I realize that on every single vehicle
registration, she switched the R and F on the name of the business;
"Rafting Expeditions"
