Websites are pretty much useless unless you know the name of what you got.
When you start catching catching those unidentifible daces, darters, chubs
etc, You need the Audubon Society field Guide to North American Fishes,
Whales and Dolphins. A great book and well worth $ 10.00 or better yet
at
$1.85

ya'll know of any good web-sites for fish identification, particularly
when
you don't know the name. i'm trying to figure out what i caught today.
thought it was a catfish because it had whiskers, but i don't see the
fish
on the chart i have in my tackle box.
thanks in advance-
snake
hey, i think the fish on the cover is the one that i caught today. is
that possible?
looks like a great book- i'll have to get it and add to my audobon bird
guide, and audobon guide to trees of the eastern region.
thanks :-)
