yum* i might have to start keepin what i catch!

Don't worry, it may pass with time. Their beauty may outweigh their
taste once you have had your fill. Still nice keeping one every now
and then to make you appreciate their taste though. ;-)

Yup, once I gave up spincasting, I was sure the first flyfisherman I ever
met who claimed to 'not eat fish' was just trying to be obtuse. He said that
he catches so many fish that eating them all is just not an option. He also
said that he actually didn't like the taste of fish. I couldn't believe it,
because eating what I caught seemed like the natural outcome, the whole
purpose of fishing. But now, even at my lower-intermediate level of skill, I
find that I almost never go fishing with the intent of eating what I catch;
its almost entirely for the sport of catching. And I catch a whole lot more
than I ever did before, too. I figure thats the real reason: flyfishing is
so much fun that I'd hate to have to quit just because I caught my dinner.
When I was spincasting, I caught so few fish that about the time I caught my
dinner, I was ready to quit.

Meanwhile, how did you cook your trout? There's a lot of gourmet trout chefs
hanging out here...
