Three times around the forcep is sufficient. The reverse the
direction of rotation and do it again. It makes a surgeons' knot.
Mosquito hemostats are preferable for fly tying although it is usually
done with a needle driver in surgery.


Very different knot. I described how to tie a clinch not with hemostats,
not a surgeons knot.
