Rachel, Sadie and I will be depositing ourselves in Graham County
October 9-23 for CACA 2004. The anti-clave - being a formless, fluid
thing, without any purpose except as revealed moment to moment (and, in
an effort to allow folks a longer period to attend or not attend, or to
avoid others, or to join others)- shall persist for the 2 weeks of my
temporary residence. Since October is a fine time to be in the far
western nc mountains, and because lodging is sparse in Graham County, i
recommend making reservations early. Here are some web pages to study...

For those wanting a rustic cabin experience, check out the Swan Cabin.
It sits above Santeetlah Creek and at $25 a night, holding up to 10, it
might be hard to beat for you outdoorsy types. reservations are tough
for it. There are many camping spots on streams. I have some property
that is not on a stream but is centrally located about 5 minutes north
of Robbinsville on England Branch, about halfway between snowbird,
santeetlah, and the SMNP's streams. if someone wants to pitch a tent
there, you're welcome to do so... but with all the free and rental
streamside campsites, i can't imagine why you'd choose it.

if anyone needs more info, feel free to contact me by e-mail. those
requiring a literate and experienced circus ringmaster are urged to
contact wayno...
