Me too. Hung by the top of the hoop.

Although I have several friends who actually tuck their nets (hoop
first) into that big back pocket on their vests.

I can't imagine that would be very user friendly. Trying to get anything
out of that back pocket without engaging in some very perverse moves is
nearly impossible. I nearly killed myself one day trying to get a beer out
of that darn pocket.
