I like barbless for many reasons.

It is easier to get out of people's skin, clothing, net bags, fish, dogs,
boat carpet............

Your flies last longer because you don't have to destroy them while getting
them out of the fish.

You don't have to get a fine because you did not know it was a barbless
area.

I have fished barbless sense 1975 but who cares.

I can't figure out with all the barbless regs that you can still buy barbed
hooks and barbed flies?
