I have the same reel I use on a 9wt rod. I expect you'll want a 5wt or
lighter rod for the fish you're after (unless the bass are very big -
then maybe an 8 or 9wt for them). That reel is too large for a 5wt
rod, maybe a fly shop will take it in trade.
