Surprisingly, there is a small trout water nearby. The tailrace from
Lake Murray into the Saluda River has stocked trout. Look at this:

Also, lots of warm water opportunities in rivers and lakes. Next
closest cold water fisheries (trout) are northeast around the GA and NC
borders.
