A quick trip through the database leads me to believe that at least nine
such theses have been written. I decline to read them however, most
especially "From Barthes to Bart Simpson", but with the possible exception
of "The Gospel According to Bart."


I'm having an evil day. Here's one for you. Has anyone finally done
the one I keep suggesting to anyone who has to write a thesis? It's
where Godzilla is seen as a metaphor for the US army occupying Japan.
Works in many ways. Even after I explain it to them, they just shake
