I received a very nice email from them apologizing their butts off for
the problems I was having. They are reimbursing me for the shipping,
and replaceing the vise. They said they will make sure they test out
the new vise before sending it to me. Either that or they will send
me one of the more conventional vises they sell. Of course when I
told them I was posting my complaints, and going to mention it at my
tying club, they couldn't apologize enough.

Potential buyers of the Thompson Cobra Vise beware. The accessory
holes are either so tight they will not accept the accessories, or so
loose they will not hold and simply fall to the table you are working
on. So, unless you want to make a couple hundred dollar mistake, stay
away from it.
