I tied up a simple pattern a few years ago.

Hook: Streamer
Claws: Two bunches of red fox squirrel tail hair tied in at the bend.
Weight: Lead wire or substitute.
Rib: Copper wire
Body: Brown dubbing
Shell Back: Tan furry foam. You could use a piece of felt available at craft
stores for this too.

Colors can be altered to match the local specimen.
