Anybody ever use Dog hair as a dubbing material? I was asked to tie some

there's going to be some smart ass comments . but, try to refrain.
Thanks in advance.
I've had a dog grooming shop for about 20 years and have tried hair from
just about every breed and cross. They all have different properties.
The only one I ever used and liked was poodle, if it's the right length.
It makes a nice spiky nymph when blended with something like rabbit.
Even though it's free, I don't use it anymore.

I've used our "tortoise shell" cat's fur for scuds in the white mountains
for dubbing in the fall months for years. Sinks well and does fairly well
in the lakes in the White Mountains of Arizona...
