Another trip
Went fishing for the second day in a row. Yesterday trip brought home 11
beautiful 1 1/2 to 2 lb specks. Went again today and was able to bring home
ten specks that weighed in 2 Lbs or over. Weather is predicated to be good
tomorrow and I am heading out again.
Saturday, I will be back on the water with my son and my neighbor.
All the fish were caught in lake Ponchatrain located in Louisiana. Launched
out of Williams Boat launch in Kenner and headed out to one of the three
artificial reefs that were created last year.
Lure of choice was a deadly dudley terror tail in chartreuse with a 3/8
ounce unpainted jig head. Method was throwing into current and bouncing the
lure back to the boat. Water clarity was better today then yesterday and
will continue to get better as long as the winds and rain stays away.
