Default First time on the west coast

Not a lot of bottom fish are open in SoCal at this time. Mexico is open for
the bottomfish, ling cod and other rockfish. Mostly yellowtail and out 90
miles albacore. Most are fished with live bait or Tady type jigs. The
livebait is mostly pinhead anchovies, which use a #1 livebait hook or small
sardines with a #2 live bait hook. As to rockfish, 3/0-5/0.
Go to http://www.allcoastsportfishing.com/...dc/f/index.cgi and look at
the fishing reports forums. Also links to the landings.

available bottom fishing, this time of the year ?

the California coast,, I need to test some Stand Out Hooks out there and
