Default Bad day at the pier

I recived a phone call from my son, and his report of his day's fishing.

He was free lining for Kings on the Alabama state pier, it was one of
those days, he was getting ate on nearly every cast, but he was not
hooking up, he finally got a hook up on a 40+ Lb King, the fight was on,
and on, and on, when he brought the king close into the pier, he watched
as a big Spanish Mackerel hit the little green float he had on his line,
that the king was trailing, thus cutting his line, and loosing the King.
He admitted he said a few choice dirty words, in front of some tourist
that was watching him fight the fish.

To add insult to injury, he had a friend on the pier with him, one that
knew little about fishing, but was catching my son's bait, when a 35 Lb
Jack Caravel hit that little bait rig's lure, As it screamed the 10#
line from the rig, his friend was yelling what do I do, WHat Do I do ?
My son said,, you hold on, and hope he turns, before you run out of
line, it didn't, and he did :-), at that point, they called it a day.
He did take home a limit of big Spanish 4 to 5 Lbs each, but no kings on
this day.
