Default Florida flats fishing help

A buddy of mine had a good compromise boat, I think it was an Aquasport
Angler 171, any boat built like that one would be an awesome choice.
The 23 footers I've been around take to much water, would suck on a push
pole and wouldn't take to electric trolling motors well. Florida water is
pretty easy water to get around in, Haulover Cut on a good ebb was worse
that the outside 99 percent of the time. You could get this boat around in
the Glades, canals and lakes also.
I'm from the Pacific Northwest so my jetsled was a little out of place there
in Florida, but it caught lots of stares, good conversations and fish on the
flats, in the glades, on the canals and lakes, on the wrecks and artifical
reefs just fine, and I could be less concerned about what I was running
over. Even took it to Bimini and back.
