Hi,

I guess I add my two cents worth for you. I had started my fishing
career on catfish. Any
fishing rig can catch catfish. I use a egg sinker
with a barrel swishel and foot leader for catfish,
trout or whatever can bite.
I use nightcrawlers or cut up baitfish for bait.
Catfish can be caught on any bait that is dead
or alive. I have caught one small channel cat-
fish on salmon eggs when fishing for rainbow
trout at one time.
Maybe this can help you too,check some the
books on fishing at your local library. I had found this very helpful
