Let me tell you about Magellan. The customer service support is non
existent .They ignore all requests for help. The user has to have a degree in
programming and interfacing to be able to operate it proficiently. It's over
priced and the instruction manual sucks.About the only good thing about it
is that it doesn't take up much room in my garage

That's interesting. I had the complete opposite experience with
Magellan. They returned my email promptly, encouraged me to call and
gave me a number - straightened things out right on the phone, zip,
zap, done.

On the other hand, I had a problem with a Garmin Color Finder I
purchased last year and their "customer service" rep was insufferably
stupid and completely incompetant. When I finally got to a tech rep,
he managed to solve the problem, but it was like pulling teeth. It
was similar to talking to somebody who was completely disinterested in
anything you were saying.
