What about Field Farm Fisheries at Wrentham?
If that is the same place I think it is, I would advise any responsible
angler not to go there.
I looked around there about 3 years ago and was dismayed to find a dead
Barbel on the bank. Barbel have no place in stillwater fisheries, and
ultimately it is cruel and totally against nature to stock a river fish in a
deoxiginated carp puddle.
Last I heard they have a BBQ on the weekends where someone comes around to
take your order. The anglers also fish so close they are almost knitting.
If that is what you want out of fishing then fine, but I prefer a quiet
peaceful bank where other anglers are rarely seen.
I may be wrong and have the wrong place, but I am pretty sure it is the same
one I looked at. If it isn't I apologise.
If anyone in the Lowestoft area wants to get off the carp puddles and fish
the rivers, but need some advice please just ask. (removing the obvious
spamtrap)
