Basically after a break of some 15 yrs from Angling I am back and boy have
got alot to catch up on.

It has not really changed that much really.
You need to present some bait, on a hook, to a fish.
What has changed is the "amount" of money some people are prepared to spend
on the gear to achieve this,and the amount of gear they feel they need.
I am serious, take a good look around a well stocked tackle shop.
