Ok agreed.
However what remains was that his methods were irresponsible
And the fact that it was a large single hook on a length of mono might also
suggest that s/he may have been long lining.


Or fishing for something else entirely and was bitten-off by a pike
unexpectedly grabbing (say) a worm?
