How strange, or coincidental Phil, I went to Moon Lake today,(MONDAY), and
with the bread, I was using the baiting needle to pull the hook thro' the
crust, and then when it 'nicks' the white of the bread, on the way back, i
give it a 'pinch', to secure it,and mask it,...not too much tho' or it sinks
slightly,...( I mentioned i'm fishing off the surface ) ..my old boy likes
to half-hitch the line round the bread too, only scored a 5lb'er, loads of
takes as usuall, so i still insist i'm doin' summat drastically
wrong.......wether or not the hooks too small/big (14 eyed),haired,(tried
it)...i also caught the only fish BTW, on a pink pop-up boilie, hair rigged
with 'real thin' fusewire..(wrapped round shank of hook several
times.....WORKED THO'...and don't anyone go on about effin fusewire being
cruel, i've served my days guilt in my mind!!,see i have got a conscience,
but the will 2 catch a big 'un might outweigh it....nah, it doesn't, i love
