Default MAP M-SIXTEEN Pole - any good?

dude.................

its only good if your strong, nigh on impossible to fish beyond 13m, only if
you float it, give it a little time, save up and get a good 14.5 mt pole,
i've gotta Maver Reactolite 14.5m, 2xtop 2, 1xtop 3, elasticated, 458 gbp,
better value and as strong, or save a little more and get a GArboliono
Antidote strong and usable

good luck

Hi,

I've just returned to fishing after a five year break, and I'm planning
on getting a new pole. I want an all-rounder type pole, something that
will be useable for small silver fish on canals, but will also handle
bigger fish at commercial fisheries.

I've seen adverts for the MAP M-SIXTEEN 16M pole for 350 GBP, which is
the price range I'm looking at. It comes with a top 3 kit rated at 12
elastic plus 3 x Power Top 2 kits (rated to 18) and also a holdall.

Can anyone give any views on this pole, good or bad. Or can anyone
recommend any alternatives in this price range.

Thanks,
Gav.
